The 2018 confederation cup is scheduled to take place from 9th February - 2nd December 2018.

Ghana's rep Asante Kotoko will play their first game against 9 times Congolese champions, Club Athlétique Renaissance Aiglon (CARA). The first leg will be played on the weekend of 9-11 of February 2018. The second leg comes off on the 20-21 February 2018

The first of the two legs will be played in Kumasi on the weekend of 9-11 of February 2018, the 2nd leg in Congo 20-21 February 2018. 

Their 2nd round opponents is between Ben Guerdane (TUN) v Al Hilal Juba (SSD) if they qualified.

KUAMI EUGENE ESCAPE DEATH AFTER RAMMING HIS CAR INTO A TIPPER TRUCK

Award-winning Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene sustained injuries on Sunday night after ramming his car into a tipper truck. The accident occurred at CP, close to the DSTV office towards the Dzowulu traffic light in Accra. It is unclear where the artiste was headed. According to the Editor for Modern Ghana news portal, Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri who witnessed the accident, he was right behind the musician’s car when the accident occurred around 11:30 pm. "I was behind him, and so I was the first person to rush to his rescue. Kwame was struggling to come out so I brought him out of the car and helped the passenger too, before some guys also came around. I arranged for a vehicle to convey them to the UGMC hospital."   Renowned Ghanaian socialite and "influencer," Mona Faiz Montrage, also known as Hajia 4Real, was found guilty of participating in romance fraud and was given a one-year and one-day prison sentence. An indictment of six counts was brought against Mona, accusing her of involvement in multiple romance schemes and money laundering related to those schemes. When Matthew Russell Lee of Inner City Press was present at the Southern District New York court, he learned that Mona's sentence guidelines ranged from 37 to 46 months. After taking a break, the judge issued a sentence of one year and one day, which would provide for good time credit.
