The status of some celebrities sometimes makes their fans forget that they are also free to attain any educational level.

For some, being a celebrity means you have already realised your dreams and there is no need to think of education anymore.

However, that is not the mentality of the celebrities themselves. In fact, many of them have degrees but have just veered off what they actually studied in the University.

In the case of Ghanaian celebs, there are some who you probably had little knowledge about their educational backgrounds.

Here are five Ghanaian celebs with university degrees:

1. John Dumelo (Civil Engineering)

You must be wondering how a man with a degree in Civil Engineering could act as flawlessly as John Dumelo goes about his business.

But the star actor actually studied Civil Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

2. EL (Economics)

Ghanaian rapper Elom Adablah, known in showbiz as EL, is also another celeb with a surprising degree.

The “koko” hitmaker is an alumnus of the University of Ghana, Legon, where he studied economics and political science.

3. Joselyn Dumas (Administrative Law)

May people know Joselyn Dumas as an actress and a television presenter, but that is not her only specialty.

The seasoned actress had her University education in the United States, where she pursued a degree in Administrative Law.

4. Eazzy (Marketing)

Very few people know that rapper Mildred Naa Ashong, popularly known as Eazzy, boasts a very rich educational background.

The artiste first attended the Institute of Professional Studies in Ghana, before later joining the Chartered Institute of Marketing in England where she also studied French and Spanish.

She also has a post graduate certificate in marketing from (CIM-UK), Birmingham, England, where she graduated in 2008.

5. M.anifest (Economics)

Rapper M.anifest migrated to the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St Paul, USA) in 2001 to attend Macalester College, where he graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in economics.
