That was exactly the case when the manna-raining God sent Seth Kwame Boafo, known as S.K. Boafo, the way of a woman who was practically living in some very dire conditions.
S.K. Boafo is a philanthropist and businessman from New Abirem in the Kwaebibrem Municipality of the Eastern Region who chanced on a 50-year-old homeless woman, Christiana Amissah at Kwae James Town.
Madam Christiana Amissah has no children of her own but as if that was not enough a headache for the half-century-old woman, the roof over her head had become completely inhabitable, as half of it was completely gone.
“The unhealthy and unsecured living and sleeping place of the woman touched my heart so I decided to provide a better place for her till her death,” Mr Boafo explained Adom TV who were at the home to see things for themselves.
Madam Christiana Amissah and her three sisters migrated from Nanyor in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region to live in Kwae James Town some 30 years ago.
Unfortunately, her two sisters passed on to glory, leaving her with neither a husband nor a child of her own.
The room she occupied collapsed about some three years ago because of a rainstorm and she has been living in the half-thatched house until Mr Boafo came to her aid and built this single room for her.
Mr Boafo has since handed over the room keys to Christiana Amissah who has expressed her joy at what Mr Boafo has done.
Besides the house Mr Boafo has donated, he has also promised to cater to both the health and economic needs of Madam Christiana for the rest of her life on earth, including paying of her hospital bills, her feeding and any other things she may need.
