A heartless husband has been sentenced to life imprisonment after murdering his 15 weeks pregnant wife and two beautiful daughters.
It is still unclear why the breadwinner took such cruel decision. In a CCTV footage, Watts was seen struggling his wife Shannan to death before smothering his two daughters.
This is the blistering statement as read by his father-in-law to the court:
‘God only knows what happened that night.
‘Life will never be the same without Shanann, Bella, Celeste and Nico. They had all their lives to live.
‘They were taken by a heartless one. This is the heartless one, the evil monster who dare take the lives of my daughter Shanann, Bella, Celeste and Nico.
Rzucek added: ‘They were loving and caring people. ‘You may have taken their bodies from me but you will never take the love they had from me.
‘They loved us more than you will ever know because you don’t know what love is. If you did, you would not have killed them, you monster. ‘You thought you would get away with this. I don’t know how, the cameras don’t lie. You carried them out like trash out of the house. Yes, I seen the video tape. ‘You buried my daughter Shanann and Nico in a shallow grave and then you put Bella and Celeste in huge containers with crude oil, you heartless monster. ‘You have to live wit this vision every day of your life and I hope you see that every time you close your eyes at night.
‘Let me tell you something, I will think of them every day of my life.
‘Prison is too good for you. This is hard to say but may God have mercy on your soul. ‘I hope you enjoy your new life, it’s nothing like the one you had out here. May the courts have no mercy on you. ‘I have heard people say that you aren’t a monster. No you’re not. You’re an evil monster.’ Watts strangled Shannan, 34, before smothering daughters Bella, three, and Celeste, four, in August after what he claimed was an ’emotional’ conversation with his late wife about the state of their marriage at their home.
Afterwards, Watts appeared on TV pleading for information about his family’s whereabouts, until Shannan was found in a shallow grave, and the children in crude oil tanks at a refinery where Watts worked. The murderer then claimed his 15 weeks-pregnant wife, who was expecting a son, strangled the girls after he told her he was leaving her. Watts, who was having multiple affairs, admitted four counts of first-degree murder earlier this month to avoid the death penalty. Despite his admissions, the killer’s parents urged him not to strike a pea deal, with his mom Cindy voicing her support at Monday’s hearing. She said: ‘As your mother, Chris, I have always loved you. ‘We will remain faithful as your family.’
