Ghanaian Afro-pop, reggae, and dancehall artiste, Mzvee born Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda has thrown a subtle jab at colleague female artiste, Wendy Shay.

In an Instagram post by Mzvee which was sighted by TheNewsGH.com, the songstress is of the assertion that one should not change his/her way to impress but rather one should enjoy being himself/herself.

Mzvee is one of the few female artists who has come clean devoid of the provocative way of dressing and making waves in the music scene due to her talent.

The ‘daavi’ hitmaker in a video she shared on her Instagram indicated that she enjoys being herself and would not change her ways for anything.

According to the Lynx entertainment signee, the moment you become embarrassed of who you are, you lose yourself.

She further added that it is not worth it to change who you are but rather be proud of yourself.

” The moment you become embarrassed of who you are, you lose yourself. You change what you eat, you change how you dressyou change how you talk, you change who you hang out with. For what ?! THINK! “ she said in a video she shared on her Instagram page

However many have linked Mzvee’s advice to Wendy Shay who recently tagged a question by a journalist as ‘dumb’ when quizzed “Who is Wendy Shay”

Although many have bashed for not being able to answer a simple question, some have also bashed her for not knowing who she is as she is emulating the late Ebony Reigns.

Many say her brand is that of ‘Ebony’ and she is not being herself.

Various controversies have surrounded the Rufftown Records signee ever since she came into the music scene.

She was recently bashed for pulling a ‘publicity’ stunt just to promote her new song.

Mzvee’s message seems to be a sisterly advice to Wendy Shay as it suits the occasion.

It seems the uber hitmaker was embarrassed to let the world know her brand when she was quizzed “who is Wendy Shay”by Mzgee of Joynews as clearly she is ‘not herself’ because of hunger for immediate fame.
