An assailant who assaulted a 42-year-old mason twice was unlucky for the third time when his victim overpowered and stabbed him with his own a knife.
The deceased who was holding a knife, allegedly attacked the suspect again. However, the suspect overpowered him this time around, took the knife and stabbed the deceased.
The Tema Regional Police Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Joseph Benefo Darkwah, who confirmed the incident to the Daily Graphic, said the suspect reported the case to the Community Eight police station where he was issued a medical form to go to the hospital for treatment on both occasions.
According to the Tema Regional Police Command, the deceased, Mohammed Tijani, had assaulted the suspect, Francis Appiah, on December 29, 2018. According to the police, last Wednesday, Tijani and five others attacked Appiah again and allegedly hit his head with a stone. He said the suspect was currently in custody, while investigations were going on.
