Mother of Christian Agyei, the houseboy of the murdered Marketing and Public Relations Manager of the Tema Port, is calling on Ghanaians to help her get a lawyer to help seek justice for her son.
Christian Agyei who was detained by the police for investigations following the murder of Josephine Asante in her house at Tema Community 25 last week, appeared before the court which was adjourned to January 31, 2019.
The remand follows a request by the prosecution to enable it to carry out further investigations, including the examination of the suspect’s body fluids and analysis of prints at the police forensic laboratory.
The accused person, Christian Agyei, 22, is facing committal proceedings for the murder of his boss.
No pleas were taken from Agyei, who has been provisionally charged with murder.
The court, presided over by Mrs Akosua A. Adjepong, adjourned hearing to January 31, 2019.
But Victoria Ayivor mother of Christian Agyie is, however, calling on Ghanaians to come to her aid as she is struggling to get a lawyer for her son.
“Please I need a lawyer to help grant my son bail he had no lawyer when he appeared in court the first time so please help me so that the next time they appear in court he or she will help seek justice for him,” she appealed.
