Mourners wept uncontrollably at the burial service of the 78-year-old mother Comfort Abena Antwiwaa and her 38-year-pregnant daughter Yeboah Sandra who were killed by an over speeding trotro bus at Abrepo last month.
TheNewsGH.com reported on February 28, 2019 of how a pregnant woman and her mother met their untimely death when a speeding trotro vehicle with registration number AS 2886-17 knocked and killed them on a spot at Abrepo close to Bantama in the Ashanti Region.
The sad incident threw residents of the area and family into a state of mourning and shock.
Thousands of mourners and family members could not hold back their tears as the coffins of the mother and her pregnant daughter were placed before mourners at the requiem service.
Friends, family members and sympathizers filed past the coffins and paid their last respect to the deceased persons at the family house at Abrepo Kesse on Saturday March 30, 2019.
Some residents at the funeral who spoke to MyNewsGh.com vowed to deal ruthlessly with any driver especially trotro drivers who will drive carelessly on Abrepo road and hit any resident as was witnessed.
According to them, the area has recorded the highest number of vehicular knock downs due the carelessness of trotro drivers.
