There is an ongoing public outcry in Malawi after a TV station managed by one of their leading universities ‘inadvertently’ aired pornographic video to the viewership of the general public.

According a report sighted by thenewsgh.com on faceofmalawinews, the incident happened around 10 a.m yesterday. It appears the person at the Final Control Centre (FCC) was streaming a pornography movie on YouTube and while in the process put it on air.

While some people believe the incident was a mistake, others are arguing it was deliberate, considering the duration it was aired before it was taken off air. The story is currently one of the top trending issues in Malawi but there hasn’t been any communication from the management concerning the issue.
The TV is run by University of Malawi and is accessible on GO TV.
