Controversial Dancehall musician Shatta Wale over the weekend was seen mocking his colleague musicians Stonebwoy and Sarkodie for not getting more nominations in this year’s VGMA.
Shatta Wale, who secured nine nominations in this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was bragging about the fact, he had more nomination than Stonebwoy and Sarkodie who had eight nominations each respectively.
Shatta Wale, while performing at the 2019 Legon Hall Week Artiste night was seen ranting and complaining on stage when the lights went off for a while.
Shatta Wale in a bid to show his disapproval of what was going on stage said ‘‘Charley make dem put the light on, ah why. Or the light man ebi BHIM Nation light man edey work or Sark Nation, make dem put the lights on before we go perform”
Shatta Wale went on to mock the aforementioned Artistes fan armies by asking the crowd whether the lights were deliberately put off because he had nine nominations in the Ghana Music Awards.
“Make dem put the lights on before we go perform or why? because dem give me nine nominations for Ghana Music Awards, If you know sey, you be Shatta Wale en fan, wey you dey here wey you go vote, make I hear you say, Champion” Shatta Wale added.
The Gringo hit maker then walk off the stage and never returned back to perform since the lights were not turned on.
