Bosomtwe DCE Donates Food Items to Muslim Community

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bosomtwe District, Hon. Joseph Kwasi Asuming Esq. on behalf of the Assembly has donated food items to Muslims in the district at the Adagya Central Mosque. Among the items were bags of rice and cartons of cooking oil.

In making the donation, Hon. J.K. Asuming appealed to Muslims in the District to use the month of Ramadan to pray unceasingly for the government and the people of Ghana. He said the donation was to support the Muslims as they were about to complete the one month fast.

Hon. Addai Poku Aikins, the F&A convener of the Assembly also called on Muslims to use the Ramadan period to renew their spiritual growth in order to get the full blessings of Allah.

Sheik Mohammed Salissu Ibrahim the Chief Imam extended the appreciation of the Muslim community to the DCE and the Assembly for the items. The Chief Imam prayed for the blessings of Allah for the district and the government.

Similar donations were made at Esereso Mosque, Abidjan Nkwanta, Jachie and many others.
