Seidu Damba Abdulai who was the Deputy Communications officer of the NDC in  Yagaba/Kubori Constituency of the North East Region resigned last week accusing elements within the party of intimidation and a deliberate attempt to scuttle his political future.

“I write to officially inform you of my decision to join your party, the New Patriotic Parts (NPP). As a proud and responsible citizen my decision premised on my personal convictions that, the Nana Addo-Bawumia led administration has a very comprehensive and clear achievable vision for this great nation.

The many social interventions and well thought out economic policies by this government are enough justification. A Political party that does not take the youth into account in terms of its policies and decisions, is destined to fail. In this regard, it is an undeniable fact that, the President with his New Patriotic Party has distinguished themselves through the many youth initiatives and empowerment program” he revealed in his letter to North East Regional Secretary of the NPP, Lawyer Sulley Sambian.

Last week when TheNewsGh.com reached out to him on what fueled his decision to resign from his position he said “There are acts of intimidation against me and a deliberate attempt to scuttle my political future. I am still young and will not sit down for my image to go down the drain.
