Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has disclosed that he feels sad for colleague artiste Samini who allowed himself to be used when he was the biggest artiste in Ghana.
According to him, Samini did not make much for himself although he reigned for several years on the music scene.
Shatta Wale made this known when he spoke to Metro TV’s Paul Adom Otchere on Good Evening Ghana
He said he most of the time feel sad for Samini because although he worked hard at ensuring Ghana’s name was put on the map, people used him for their benefit whiles he was unable to achieve anything better for his life.
“Gone are the days we were talking about Samini but nobody is talking about Samini now and I feel so bad. That is a legend. Samini tried to put Ghana on the map but people used him so much that he wasn’t aware. Now he’s aware of it. Samini was a great musician but if most musicians like him will come out and tell the story about the industry and how it goes like, people like Sarkodie and people you’re mentioning wouldn’t be behaving like the way they’re behaving in the industry”.
