A Nigerian Lady, Lydia Okojie, just after finally completing the University of Benin decided to rush to her father’s mechanic workshop to celebrate with him.
In photos shared via her Instagram wall, father and daughter hugged as they enjoyed the great moment in the life of her daughter.
Social media users are praising the lady for this act of thoughtfulness.
Others would have been shy of identifying themselves with their parents because of their professions.
Mechanic work is considered to be for people who haven’t gone far on the academic ladder. Hence, some kids wouldn’t love their friends to know that their parents are involved in professions of this nature.
But this lady doesn’t give a damn. Sharing the photos, she wrote:
“I’m the pride of a mechanic (Dad) The Jewel of a zobo seller (mom)
A role model to my siblings My parents with their little income produced the Latest Graduate From the faculty of Education University of Benin Their contributions made me who I am today What more can I say? Thank you Jesus🙌”.
