Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen is set to leave the club either this month or in the summer with Manchester United and Real Madrid having been linked with the Dane.
Tottenham star Christian Eriksen has reportedly made a decision on where his future lies with the Dane having been heavily linked with a move to either Manchester United or Real Madrid. Eriksen is out of contract at Spurs this summer and is free to speak to foreign clubs this month.
United have been heavily linked with a move for Eriksen, though recent reports have suggested the Red Devils will not make a bid this month.
That’s despite Tottenham being keen to cash in on the 27-year-old this month rather than losing the ace for free in the summer.
But Sky Sports claim that Eriksen sees his future away from the Premier League having spent over six years at Tottenham.
“Spurs should be cashing in on Christian Eriksen this month,” Chimbonda told Gambling.com.
“If they don’t, he’s going for free in the summer. Since he’s not playing well, they should just take any decent offer that comes in over the next few weeks.
“Even if it’s not the figure Daniel Levy has in mind, any sort of fee can be put towards a new signing.
“I’m sure a quick resolution can come about, just let him go and be done with it.
“He’s hinted before that he wants to go and play for Real Madrid or Barcelona but I don’t think he’s going to get either move, they’re both stacked with riches in midfield already and I don’t see where he gets in.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes to Manchester United – they need to update their midfield and they could do a lot worse than Eriksen.
