Ghanaian Actress and Movie Producer, Yvonne Nelson has advised all Ghanaians to be patient to see if all those Diaspora who came into Ghana to celebrate the Year of Return would come back with investments move or not.
The “Year of Return, Ghana 2019” is a major landmark marketing campaign targeting the African – American and Diaspora Market to mark 400 years of the first enslaved Africans arriving in Jamestown Virginia.
The implementation of ‘The Year Of Return’ program attracted a lot of foreigners into the country.
Coupled with the organization of Afronation 2019, many diasporas thought it wise to spend some quality time in the country Ghana.
However, Yvonne Nelson believes there is more to that. She thinks if the diasporas return to Ghana and set up shops and factories, it will be more beneficial than their ‘mere’ visit.
Yvonne Nelson tweeted;
“After all the year of return celebrations, lets see if peeps in the diaspora will move back to the motherland, lets see if they’ll choose life up/down here….lets see if they’ll come and invest, lets see if they’ll choose life here in Africa!”
