“We Live and Our Presence is Ever Powerful,” the LGBT group in Ghana has made a bold statement.
It would be recalled that the government of Ghana through the Ministry of Gender did not allow the group to hold their conference in Accra after their incessant publicity.
The group, however in a new statement, have insinuated they are ready to come out despite the homophobia in the country.
In a video shared via its Twitter handle, the rainbow flag is seen hoisted among three Ghana flags signifying their presence in the country. And accompanied by the caption:
“We Live and Our Presence is Ever Powerful. We will not be Erased. Ghana our Revolution has Began, Rainbow everywhere. Yasss! We Welcome Ourselves Back. And to the Homophobes, well Suffer! #LoveWins Share! #Ghana #LGBT #LGBTQ#LGBTRightsGhana“
