Kafaba lynching: Key suspect to be arraigned today

One key suspect linked to the lynching of a 90-year-old woman at Kafaba in the Savanna region is expected to be arraigned later today.

Latifa Bumaye was arrested last week at Kejewu Bator, a fishing community along the Volta lake.

She was seen in the viral video beating the deceased with an object.

Madam Akua Denteh was beaten to death in public for allegedly being a witch.

On Wednesday, July, 29, five persons in the community turned themselves into the police after the chief of Kafaba was picked up over the heinous crime.

The IGP has announced a two thousand Ghana Cedis (GhC2,000) reward for information leading to the arrest of any of the suspects.
