Prophet Elisha Salifu Amoako says the unbelief of Ghanaians and the unwavering stand to persecute prophets were the reasons why they were mute over the outbreak of COVID.
According to the founder of the Alive Chapel, many prophets foresaw the outbreak of Coronavirus but didn’t have the guts to publicly announce it because they feared being persecuted.
In an interview with Asempa FM, Prophet Salifu Amoako said: “Ghanaians are now very rebellious against the Word of God.”
“Many prophets, both home and abroad, saw the coronavirus pandemic coming but they were afraid to talk due to persecution but their prayers have helped limit the number of deaths.”
He also added that the prayers of the prophets have saved the country from the hard effects of the Coronavirus outbreak.
“Ghana is a covenant nation and God is in this country. God has mercy on Ghana because of the work of prophets in the country. We have saved this country with our prayers. Not all of us are fake,” he bemoaned.
Prophet Salifu-Amoako called on Ghanaians to treat the words and sayings of the prophets with the urgency it deserves because they are the light of the nation.
Ghana’s COVID-19 case count stands at 37,812 with over 200 deaths. However, many Ghanaians, like others across the world, have become numb to the virus or are just tired of critically following the numbers as far as COVID-19 is concerned.
