Former President John Dramani Mahama says his biggest drive to seeking a return to the presidency is his desire to create jobs for the teeming youths of Ghana.
According to the NDC flagbearer, the time is ticking and he is poised to come back to provide all young persons with respectable jobs.
“The major plank of my second coming as President is to deliver jobs to our youth. If we do not do this urgently, we have a time bomb ticking away,” he said in a Facebook post.
He concluded his message as part of the celebration of the 2020 International Youth Day, that his primary focus is to provide sustainable jobs to all and sundry.
“Everything, every policy, and every sector will be focused on creating jobs for young people. This is anchored in our US$10bn #TheBigPushand #1millionJobs Plans,” he noted.
Both the NPP and NDC are lacing their boots for what will be one of the fiercely contested presidential elections in the history of Ghana with all candidates riding on their achievements to have the upper hand.
The Electoral Commission has already registered over 16 million Ghanaians for this year’s December 7 election which is a straight fight between NDC’s John Mahama and NPP’s Akufo-Addo.
