The families of the late Jerry John Rawlings has demanded the remains of the former president after the State burial.
According to Agbotui, Tamakloe, and Allied families, other traditional rites ought to be performed before J.J Rawlings’ burial.
This was made known in a letter jointly signed by the Secretary and Chairman, Napoleon Kwame Agbotui and Godson Agbotui respectively delivered to the Presidency on 19th January 2021.
In the letter, the families of JJ Rawlings demanded that the mortal remains of the former president should be delivered to them to perform the traditional rites scheduled for the 29th and 30th of January.
