A video circulating on social media captures the National women’s organiser of the New Patriotic Party(NPP),Kate Gyamfua shedding tears after regional and constituency women’s organisers went to console her following her 8 burnt excavators.
In the video sighted by TheNewsGh.Com, Mrs Kate Gyamfua broke down in tears while the women’s organisers consoled her.
The women could be heard singing a popular Twi worship song while they consoled Kate Gyamfua who was crying uncontrollably over the loss of her 8 excavators burnt by the galamsey task force.

It could be recalled that 8 excavators belonging to Mrs Kate Gyamfua were burnt by the Anti-Galamsey Task Force in the Eastern Region as part of the operations of the military task force against illegal mining or galamsey.
The 8 excavators belonging to the NPP national women’s organiser were part of about 20 machines that were burnt in the operation by the anti-galamsey task force.
The operation took place across Larbikrom, Dompem and Pamen which are located in the Atiwa District in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
